1. Why do I need extra corner brackets to fix the pool cover if my rectangular pool is on a hard surface?
If your rectangular pool is on a soft surface (e.g. grass), the pool cover can be attached to the ground at the bottom using 4 tent pegs. This is not possible on a hard surface (eg terrace). That is why 4 corner supports are attached to the corners of your above-ground pool with the help of clips. The pool cover is then stretched over the corner supports and fastened to the corner supports at the bottom using a bungee cord.
2. What are the advantages of the extra corner supports if my pool is on a soft surface?
The corner supports ensure that the pool cover fits nicely with the frame of your pool. So even if your pool is on a soft surface, the extra corner supports are certainly an added value.
